Mary Graham

Mary Graham was born in 1796 at England. Mary and Richard Carmoody were married by Rector Charles Crook on Monday, 28 April 1817 at St. Peter and Paul Church, Bath, Somerset Co., England. C. Russell and W. W. Skrine Jr. witnessed the marriage. She and her children, Sarah Carmoody, Amelia Carmoody, Mary Carmoody and Richard Carmoody were admitted on Thursday, 31 August 1826, to the Castle Street Workhouse, Westminster, Middlesex Co., England. She was 33 years old. On November 27, 1826, she and the children were discharged and sent to the workhouse in St. Leonard's, Shoreditch. She was discharged from this institution on August 21, 1827, but the children did not go with her at that time. She appeared as head of the household on the census of 1841 at George Street, St. Leonards Shoreditch, Middlesex Co., England. She was enumerated as: Mary Carmoody, female age 45, born Middlesex. Richard Carmoody also appeared in the household.
