Jessie Kitcha

Jessie and (?) Holman were married. Jessie and Robert George Maddocks, son of Robert George Maddocks and Sarah Porter Trenwith, were married by Reverend W. J. Bradbury on Saturday, 24 July 1943 at St. John's Church, West Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. Olga Kitcha and William Charles Maddocks witnessed the marriage.
     Jessie died on Wednesday, 18 October 2006 at L. A. Miller Centre. Her obituary read:
HOLMAN, Jessie (nee Kitcha) - Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 following a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by mother, Mary Kitcha (nee Boziak); father Michael Kitcha; sisters: Olga and Nettie and nephew Ronald Bodner. Left with loving memories are her sons: Derrick (Lexie) Maddocks, St. John's, NL and their sons: Keith and Matthew and Jim Maddocks, Saskatoon and his sons: Justin and Robert; brother Pete Kitcha, Toronto, ON; nephew Michael Chornapesky; niece Susan, Mississauga; special friends: Alice and Rod Brown and Bernice Beck "Bunny", as well as other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Interment will follow at a later date in Saskatoon. Donations may be made in Jessie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road.
