Lauraine Maude Smith was born on Wednesday, 19 February 1902 at Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. Lauraine and Robert Tarr Peacock, son of George Augustus Peacock and Mary Tarr, were married by Presbyterian Minister F. L. Forbes on Friday, 28 October 1927 at Seattle, King Co., Washington, USA. Everett M. Foreman and Muriel F. Williamson witnessed the marriage. She appeared in the household of Robert Tarr Peacock on the census of 8 April 1930 at 4557 50'th SW, Seattle, King Co., Washington, USA. She is recorded as: Peacock, Sylvia M, wife, female, white, 28, 25 at first marriage, able to read and write, born Canada, both parents born Canada, immigrated in 1926, not working, able to speak English. She was found on a boarder crossing list on 26 June 1941 at Loring, Montana, USA, travelling with Robert Tarr Peacock. Lauraine died on Wednesday, 16 April 1952 at Crease Clinic of Psychological Medicine, Essondale, British Columbia, Canada, at age 50 years, 1 month and 28 days due to gastro intestinal haemorrhage. She also suffered from epilepsy with psychosis for 35 years. She was cremated on 23 April 1952 at the Royal Oak Crematorium, Saanich, British Columbia, Canada.
