Hubert Charles Hubbard was born on Saturday, 10 September 1892 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. He states he was born in Toronto, next of kin was Mrs. J Hubbard (mother), 99 Roslyn Ave, Toronto. Born Sept. 10, 1892, Labourer, single. He was 5' 9" tall, dark complexion, blue eyes, black hair, Church of England, and had a small scar on third finger, left hand. He became regimental number 454225. Hubert and Grace Amelia Carmoody, daughter of Byron Carmoody and Matilda LaBallister, were married by Reverend (?) Sherman on Saturday, 8 November 1924 at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 10 Trinity Street, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. She was 35, spinster, living at 323 Albany Ave., born Toronto, Anglican. He was 34, bachelor, motor tester, living at 155 Hilda Ave., Toronto, born England, Anglican. They were both able to read and write. Maria Lousia Carmoody and Eugene McFiee (?) witnessed the marriage. Here you will find an image of Holy Trinity Church. Hubert died on Saturday, 14 February 1925 at Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan, USA, at age 32 years, 5 months and 4 days.
